I Expected This But I Can Only Afford That : Makeup Removing Balm

I have ranted about this matter too many times - how I wish I could afford to buy Lauren Conrad's products but on top of it not being sold here in Malaysia, I don't earn enough to actually pay for the overseas shipping either. But, I found a wonderful news to share with the world especially to those who wishes to get their hands on Lauren Conrad's products but stuck in the same situation as me. I found the substitutes and since I can't afford The Makeup Removing Balm by Lauren Conrad's Beauty, there is ...

Intoskin's Quick Fine Clear Cleansing Balm which costs about RM108.90 before discount on Skinphy.com. You can also find this product sold on Shopee too.

The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Cream costs only RM38.00 at Shopee. Bear in mind this may not be a balm but a cleansing cream, it works just like cleansing balm because it soothes the skin especially if you have dry and sensitive skin.

Cleansing balm perks is truly for those with irritating and sensitive skin because the cream or balm is made to soothe skin irritation and not damage the skin with overpowering formulas. It is also a lot more gentle than makeup removing cleanser/toner. So if you have sensitive skin like me that is constantly irritating and flaky, cleansing cream or balm is really useful because it rarely hurt the skin. However, different people may have different effects but cleansing balm so far works well for me.

My Lauren Conrad Beauty Wishlist

It is not a secret how I admire Miss Lauren Conrad. I feel like I gabbed about her at least once a week in real life and this happens to be my third post about her. I really do admire her but today's post has nothing to do with the person but after looking at her beauty line, over and over again even though I am well aware that I can't purchase the products, I think I have my Lauren Conrad Beauty wishlist. It is sad that the line does not ship all the way to my home country but no one said you have to pay for shipping when it comes to wishing.

Wish 1 : The All-Over Balm
To start with, considering I am currently in love with moisturizing stick because of the convenience and the great effects it has on my skin that is severely sensitive, I am so happy to learn that her collection features The All-Over Balm which works like a lip balm and moisturizing stick at the same time. However, the only setback would be that this product is not a sun-screen which means, I may need to apply a layer of sunblock cream or balm.

Wish 2 : The Makeup Removing Balm
Then comes The Makeup Removing Balm. We are so familiar with makeup remover that comes in liquid form and most of them are not friendly to my skin, but Lauren Conrad beauty has the balm version which I believe works like a gel which pulls all the pigment of the makeup on our skin and when wiped away, it wipes off the makeup as well and it may not take as much aggressiveness as when using normal makeup remover.

Wish 3 : The Liquid Highlighter
Most highlighter comes in powder form, like the compact powder ones. The one I have comes in creamy stick form which works just as fine for me but I can't shake how cute the packaging for LC Beauty's Liquid Highlighter and I have watched some makeup reviews and it appears that her highlighter is really good. On top of that, I read the ingredients used and I think they could be friendly to my skin.

Wish 4 : The Liquid Eyeliner
How can I not list the most iconic product of the line - The Liquid Eyeliner. I have to say that my love for liquid eyeliner started with LC who always donned the ever-so-popular and now iconic, cat's eye wing eyeline. So yes, this item is the last item of my wishlist and I just have to have it in.

All items listed above can be purchased at Lauren Conrad Beauty Online Shop that ships to mostly America.

The Power of Moisturizing Stick

Even though I may not be in my early twenties anymore, I still feel like I am very much new and inexperienced with beauty and make-up. This is also because I have super sensitive skin and eczema that comes and goes which makes is very difficult for me to find the most compatible products that are friendly to my skin. However, by some accidental fate, I was introduced to the most magical beauty product while shopping for my day-to-day beauty care at the place that sells the products that are friendly to my skin - The Face Shop.

Let me reiterate, I have super sensitive skin and so far, The Face Shop's skincare products are really gentle for me and while shopping for a sunscreen because I recently learned that even though we don't go out and get direct hit from the sunlight, our skin are still exposed to the UV rays which will darken and damaged our skin, I was introduced by the salesgirl the Power Long-Lasting Sun Screen Stick SPF50. Of course that item is no longer available online but I did find it in the retail stores which prices at RM95.00. Yes, it is pricey but it is truly an amazing item because it is so compact and easy to use, and it works real well for me. Not only does it works as a moisturizing element to my skin, it also protects my skin from the sunlight. But considering that it is no longer available online, I did managed to find a few substitutes.
